Is Indonesia a cheap country?

This depends. Certainly it is a poor country with very low wages. However, some things are very expensive. For example, a second hand ten year old car will rarely be cheaper than € 5,000. An egg costs € 0.08. Using the telephone is more expensive than in Europe.
